HIV/AIDS Infected and Affected Program
Hope and emotional assistance will help alleviate the pain of these stigmatized children and restore their dignity.
The UN AIDS survey has identified multiple districts in India that have a high prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS. A most disheartening and alarming situation exists for these HIV/AIDS infected or affected children in these districts. The pain of these children is inexplicable as they are being denied their normal social life and face a huge amount of stigmatization and discrimination as well.
The MOM Foundation is helping these children with monthly nutritional and psychological support to restore courage, confidence, and hope in their lives. We support this program in India through our partnership with Village Development Organization (VDO).
Your generous donation will help fund:
- Monthly supplies of groceries to feed the family
- Informing families of available government-provided medical treatment
- Outreach by trained staff to provide educational resources at the community level to the infected and affected children
